  4. ■       ArcTest has built in communications drivers or will use FOSSIL drivers
  5.         if available.
  6.  
  7. ■       ArcTest will automatically identify and test ARJ, LZH, RAR, UC2,
  8.         ZOO, TD0, and GIF files.
  9.  
  10. ■       ArcTest will automatically detect ansi and non ansi callers.  Remote
  11.         status display for ansi and non ansi callers.
  12.  
  13. ■       ArcTest will test integrity of files compressed with ZIP, ARJ, LZH,
  14.         TD0, RAR, and UC2 files to any nested archive level.
  15.  
  16. ■       ArcTest will automatically identify PKWares multi volume zips and
  17.         handle them appropriately.
  18.  
  19. ■       ArcTest will scan archives and nested archives to any level for viruses
  20.         with the following products:  McAfee VirusScan versions 1.x and 2.x,
  21.         ThunderByte AntiVirus v6.x, F-Prot Virus Scanner version 2.1x, and
  22.         Norton AntiVirus.

  24. ■       ArcTest can be configured to scan for viruses with multiple
  25.         virus scanners.
  26.  
  27. ■       ArcTest can remove or update archive comments.
  28.  
  29. ■       ArcTest will remove unwanted files (bbs adds) from within archives.

  31. ■       ArcTest will add files (bbs adds) to archives.
  32.  
  33. ■       ArcTest will test age constraints of files contained within
  34.         archives.  ArcTest will fail uploads that contain files that are
  35.         older than your specified number of days old.  ArcTest also allows
  36.         you to specify the percent of files that must pass this age
  37.         criteria.  IE: Say an archive contains 100 files.  You have set
  38.         ArcTest to only allow files that are 100 days old.  You have also
  39.         set ArcTest to only allow 50 percent of the internal files to file
  40.         the age testing.  If 51 percent of the files contained in the
  41.         archive are 101 days old ArcTest will fail the upload.  However if
  42.         only 30 percent of the files failed date testing the file would be
  43.         accepted.  This is a very useful feature because it takes into
  44.         account files such as DSZ updates that contain original BAT and DOC
  45.         files.

  47. ■       ArcTest can save failed uploads to a private directory for later
  48.         inspection by the sysop.  ArcTest will also create a log file in
  49.         the save directory that contains the exact reason why and what file
  50.         or internal file failed testing.
  51.  
  52. ■       ArcTest will clean up FILE_ID.DIZ files by removing high ascii
  53.         characters.
  54.  
  55. ■       ArcTest will add file information to FILE_ID.DIZ files.  Information
  56.         that can be added are number of files, oldest file, newest file, and
  57.         FILE_ID.DIZ date.

  59. ■       ArcTest can add FILE_ID.DIZ information and/or virus scan results
  60.         to archive comments.
  61.  
  62. ■       ArcTest will inform the sysop that files have failed testing.
  63.  
  64. ■       ArcTest will allow users to hang up before file testing is started
  65.         thus saving them unproductive online time and long distance
  66.         charges.

  68. ■       ArcTest will use StripAV to remove PKZip AV codes from archives.

  70. ■       With the ability to use multiple configuration files testing can be
  71.         changed for different level users or any other option that
  72.         SynchroNet's ARS system allows.

  74. ■       ArcTest can reboot the computer if a virus is detected.

  76. ■       ArcTest supports ramdrives.

  78. ■       ArcTest will convert GIF files to JPG or JPG --> GIF.  Converting
  79.         to the JPG format saves large amounts of disk space! (registered
  80.         versions only)

  82. ■       ArcTest will convert ARJ, LHA, ZIP, UC2, and RAR files to a chosen
  83.         base format.  ArcTest also has the ability to convert self
  84.         extracting archives of the same flavors.

  87.         IE: User to user uploads or Sysop uploads.

  89. ■       ArcTest can send email to users if their upload fails CRC, Date, or
  90.         Virus testing.
